Cable Cleanup & Cupboard Management. Quarterly once Cable Cleanup activity for both labs Unwanted cable remove & redressing for Production rack Every day WWIE team open cupboard keep all types cables & availability for users usage Notice to team Lead cable requirement every quarterly once.

Rack Projection Management. ICX Lab Projection: Collect the all team projection in advance 6th month Devices qty details collect based on provide rack deployment Based on Projection procurement the PDU & Console server Removing the unwanted devices from production rack based on confirm with team Managers CS Lab Projection: New Product details check in Support.ruckuswireless.com for procurement Based on usage meeting with all CS Team Managers with user for requirements for AP & Controller procurement New Rack allocation based on AP & Controller allocation & usage..

Asset Management. Quarterly once all Labs & Stores doing asset audit Asset Master list export from BRICS Changes updated in BRICS.

Camp Management. WWIE Capacity Management (CAMP) WWIE Initiate Capacity Management (CAMP) program every year for effective management of engineering lab space and Equipment Life cycle management. Camp program will applicable for Global Engineering Labs CAMP Rules 10 % reduction on current utilized capacity Reduction on engineering new rack projections CAMP Flows Initiation Meet engineering team. Review and share asset details. Request engineering team to reduce 10 % reduction on utilized space or lab projection Once devices are Identified , shutdown for week and moved to store Update to engineering team that device is moved to store Label all the devices as CAMP-X and move it store 2. Ownership Change Wait for 3 months and then Change the ownership to WWIE Team if devices not requested from engineering team. Notify to engineering team on asset details and change of ownership and get approved. WWIE team Will be given opportunity to the customer for renew if the devices are critical based on department owner approval Equipment Scraping WWIE team will wait for 3 months and then initiate equipment life cycle management Review equipment hardware, warrently, working status and list all the devices which are end of life as per LCM rule WWIE team Share asset details with facility team for scrapping Guidelines for equipment retirement Equipment not used for current projects Equipment with more than 3U space need(Chassis, etc) Equipment which is More than 3 years old – asset wise( out of warranty, etc) More than 3 years old – technology wise(end-of life, 2G,100Mb, CPU, etc) Low on HW configuration( 512MB MEMORY, no PCI , etc) High on Energy Consumption CAMP Advantage Significant saving on power bills. Significant saving on ELS lab infra, Effective Engineering lab space utilization, Equipment life cycle management.
