[Audio] Introduction, During World War 2, millions of men were being drafted away, young teens started getting married before their husbands were sent away. While men were gone, more than 6 million women filled in their jobs, like fixing cars, working in factories, manufacturing equipment's for the battlefield, etc..
[Audio] Women in the Millitary, Beginning of December 1941, 350,000 women served in United States Armed Forces Womens Army Auxiliary Corps Women Airforce Service Pilot ( WASP) Women accepted for volunteer Military Service( WAVES) Women also served in the marines and in a branch called SPARS.
