implemented procedures of how to control their e-waste footprint. Vodacom has:    -recycled 310.5 tones of equipment -38.3 tones of equipment has been redeployed in the network -197.7 tones of batteries have  beeen  incinerated -And 111.7  tonnes  of batteries have been rejuvenated

As technology changes, Vodacom should also change all aspects of its business.  New technology is produced to replace harmful products. With new technology, Vodacom promotes customer loyalty which results in sales and profit.  Technology can increase financial risks, as programs cost money and it has a negative impact on profit

Vodacom has helped small farm holders reach new customers and potential employees and thus helped grow businesses and the economy at large. Through the women farmers program, they have offered basic digital skills training Harvesting a connection between women farmers and SA..

Over 2 million people die each year from water diarrhoea and Enteric Infection(one of the leading causes illness and death in children, majority of which are under 5 years old) In 2015, the World Health Organisation (WHO)  estimated 2,1 billion people lacked access to safely managed water and 500000 deaths in Low To medium income countries were thought to have been caused by  dring  unsafe water Vodacom created campaigns like World Water Week aiming to reduce 75% of water consumption by 2025 and it has, since 2017, held this campaign annually They have also installed  Jojo  tanks and they refill these with drinkable water in 85 schools and teaching  centers .
