[Audio] Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone. As the authors of this presentation, we want to highlight the challenges faced in delivering healthcare services in the region, specifically in emergencies and critical medical situations. We believe that the establishment of the ambulance network management system was a crucial step towards addressing these challenges and improving the healthcare services in the region. The objectives of the system are to reduce maternal mortality due to delay, reduce mortality from emergencies, strengthen the referral chain, prevent misuse, establish a laboratory network, and strengthen disaster/emergency response capacity. Thank you for your attention, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions..

[Audio] We are excited to introduce the Ambulance Network Management System. This system was established through the use of G-P-S technology to address the challenges faced in the region. It covers a wide range of medical facilities, including base hospitals, divisional hospitals, and primary medical care units. With this system in place, we can better manage the transportation of patients and ensure that they receive the care they need in a timely manner. We believe that this system will greatly benefit the people of Nuwra-Eliya District and we are committed to ensuring its success..
[Audio] Our first objective is to reduce maternal mortality by ensuring that pregnant women receive timely medical attention. Our second objective is to reduce mortality from emergencies, including accidents, heart attacks, and other medical emergencies. Our third objective is to strengthen the referral chain and patient transportation efficiency to reduce the time it takes for patients to receive the care they need. Our fourth objective is to prevent misuse of the system by ensuring that it is used in the correct way and not abused for personal gain. Our fifth objective is to establish a laboratory network to provide patients with access to medical tests and procedures. Finally, our sixth objective is to strengthen the disaster/emergency response capacity to be prepared for any emergency that may arise. Overall, these objectives can help ensure that everyone in the community has access to the care they need to live healthy and happy lives..
[Audio] We have implemented a new system and have seen a significant reduction in hospital stay time between admission and transfer. This improvement is particularly notable in maternal and emergency transfers, as well as By-hand transfers, which have been reduced by up to 90%. We are proud of this achievement and confident that we will continue to make progress towards our goals within the next couple of months..
Thank you.
