The intended purpose of PHE Department Jammu, is to ensure drinking water facility to all the habitations, Rural as well as Urban. The salient objectives and functions of PHE Department, Jammu are as under :- » To investigate, plan and implement water supply schemes to extend drinking water facility to Rural and Urban population including schools and other institutions. » Besides the quantity of water as per the National norms, the quality of the water is also closely monitored by way of establishing drinking water quality testing labs at the division as well as sub-division level..

[Audio] ENGAGEMENT OF TPQI For the Ease of the project, the Entire Districts of J&K has divided into two parts i.e. First Jammu and Second Kashmir. In Jammu, the entire design has been done by the Project Management Consultant, whereas the Quality inspection n has been taken care by the Third Party Quality Agency, which is awarded to Rudrabhihek Enterprises Limited on January 2022, which was finally commence on ground on 15th February 2022 with mobilization of staff at Site.

[Audio] PROCEDURE OF QUALITY CONTROL ADOPTED AT SITE r lit iiiiiiiiiii Joint Meeting Detailed Discussion of each sites and ongoing activity, related to site Issue Planning of Site-wise visit plan for upcoming week along with the activities to be performed On every last day of the week, a joint meeting were held at every site along with all the field staff of PHE department, DPMU and TPQI, headed by executive engineer of the respective division. In this meeting all the site related issues are discussed in details with all along with the detailed roster plan for the upcoming days..

[Audio] SITE VISIT – COLLECTION & TESTING OF MATERIALS / SAMPLES SAMPLE COLLECTION SAMPLE TESTING AT LAB To ensure the quality of the concrete or material, the sample were collected, packed and send to the NABL approved laboratories for the testings as per the relevant indian standard codes. Once all the samples passes the quality check, than only the activity was considered for the invoicing. All the record of such materials are maintained at site.

[Audio] SITE VISIT – Checklist & Inspection Report IZ4i3;tSn To check whether the ongoing activity meets all the quality criteria, each quality engineers carries the requisite checklist to record down the correctness of the activity. The checklist was jointly signed by the representative of Client , contractor and Quality Inspector.

[Audio] Maintaining Site Order Book: At each site, site order books are kept, so that anyone visit the site and notify anything, can make the same in record via site order book. The book was reviewed by the executive engineer, forthnightly.

[Audio] Inspection Images: Based on the inpection report and lab test, the activities are recommended for the payment. If the element didn’t passed in the inspection or test, proper corrective and preventive actions were recommended..

[Audio] Safety Issue at Site Sites which are accidental prone, field staff were specially instructed to take extra care about safety. It is also recommended to JalJeeval Mission to allot safety Kits to all field staff.
