To get there, you must take a banca from Catarman port and then you must register with the Tourism Office to join the tours to its amazing rock formations. [Audio] Monad Shoal, often referred to as Shark Point, is situated off the northern coast of Cebu Island in the Visayas region of the Philippines. It is a sunken coral plateau with depths of approximately 20 meters and is host to many species of marine life such as Thresher Sharks, Manta Rays, Mantis Shrimps, Pygmy Seahorses and Nudibranchs. The visibility usually ranges from 10 - 15 meters and diving usually begins around 6 am as this is when the concentration of sharks is highest.
