Scene 1 (0s)

VANISHING LINE. Carlos Miguel Almendares.

Scene 2 (7s)

WHAT IS A V A N I S H I N G LINE. Vanishing lines are imaginary lines used to create accurate perpective in a painting. They are drawn on the top and bottom horizontal edges of an object, along the object and then extended to the hozintal line Generally, A vanishing line is commonly used in perspective drawing. This allows us to create lines to which the receding lines diminish. Allows us to create a piece of art that exhibits a three-dimensional look..

Scene 3 (28s)

Cube has 12 lines.

Scene 4 (35s)

Red would be the lines on X axis Green would be the line on Y aixs Blue would be on the Z axis.

Scene 9 (1m 6s)

Rotating the cube to the left would make the z and x vanishing lines converge on the horizontal line at some certain point and we call that the z and x vanishing point.

Scene 10 (1m 17s)

Rotating the cube to the left again would make the x vanishing line meet at the center which is our x vanishing point and the z vanishing line would extend to the right..

Scene 11 (1m 30s)

If the go back and rotate the one point perspective to the right we will return to the two point perspective showing the both vanishing line of the x and z..

Scene 12 (1m 42s)

This image shows the summary of all the vanishing lines of the x,y and z axis that converge to their respective vanishing point..

Scene 13 (1m 53s)

This image shows a perfect example to which the vanishing lines are used as a guide to portray the image to a three-dimensional piece..
