RECAP This story has been written by Nicolas Bentley. The story starts on the note when a man enters the shop and asks to see some rings. He picks up a couple of rings and asks for the price of a flower ring studded with diamonds and rubies. The man thinks the price is too high and just then the ring goes missing. The narrator and Ms. Susskind call Mr. Reigner and inform him about the lost ring. Subsequently, a girl enters the shop and asks for a brooch to be repaired but the narrator tells her that they don't do repairs. Using his wit, the narrator finds the ring from the left side pocket of the woman's coat. He knew it would be there as he had noticed that the lady had put her left hand exactlywhere the man had put his hand just before the ring disappeared. The narrator, being a vigilant and keen observer, found out that the lady had picked up the ring from the chewing gum very neatly and put it in her coat's pocket. CREATED USING 4 POWTOOn.
