NATIVE STATE- UTTAR PRADESH One-sixth of India's population lives in Uttar Pradesh, is located in the north central part of India and has the highest population in India. It is bounded by Bihar on the east, Haryana and Rajasthan on the west, Nepal and Uttarakhand to the north and Madhya Pradesh to the South.  Its 4th biggest state in terms of land and covers the area of 243,290 km². The State is often referred as "UP“. Hindi is the main language is most widely spoken and official language in Uttar Pradesh. Its capital is Lucknow, in the west-central part of the state. Major cities of UP- Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi, Meerut, and Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), etc.

CITY- AMRITSAR Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. The current metro area population of Amritsar in 2022 is 1,425,000. Amritsar is the largest and most important city in Punjab and is a major commercial, cultural, and transportation center. It is also the centre of Sikhism and the site of the Sikhs’ principal place of worship—the Harmandir Sahib, or Golden Temple. Amritsar is a major commercial and cultural centre in the heart of Punjab. The city is the spiritual and cultural centre of the Sikh religion. Punjabi is the official language of the Indian state of Punjab. Some of its major urban centres in northern India are Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Ambala, Patiala, Bathinda, Hoshiarpur and Delhi.

COUNTRY- JAPAN Japan is an island nation in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it borders China, North Korea, South Korea, Russia, Taiwan, the Sea of Japan, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the East China Sea, Japan has a market economy in which the prices of goods and services are determined in a free price system. Japan is a member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).  A global leader in the  automotive ,  robotics  and  electronics industries , Japan has made significant contributions to  science and technology . The  culture of Japan  is well known around the world, including its  art ,  cuisine ,  music , and  popular culture , which encompasses prominent  comic ,  animation  and  video game  industries.

Japan ranks 44th out of sixty-nine nations on the power-distance index (PDI), with a score of 54. Japan is regarded as having a high-power distance, despite its score being lower than the world average of 55. With a high-power distance index, Japan's leadership style will be influenced.

INDIVIDUALISM VS COLLECTIVISM Individualist civilizations assume that individuals will solely care about themselves and their immediate family. In collectivist civilizations, people belong to 'in groups,' which look after them in exchange for their devotion. Japan is ranked 31-33 out of 69 nations and has a score of 46 on the Individualism Index (IDV). Japan's Individualism score is higher than the global average of 43. Japan, on the other hand, is a collectivist country. This is due to Japan's proclivity for handling matters based on relationships and the belief that people have an obligation to each other.

MASCULINITY VS FEMINITY A high score suggests that society will be driven by competition, accomplishment, and success, with success defined by the winner / best in field - a value system that starts in school and continues throughout organizational life. A low score on the dimension implies that caring towards others and life quality are the most important values in society. Japan ranks 2 out of 69 nations with a Masculinity Index (MAS) score of 95. The Masculinity Index in Japan is the second highest in the world. As a result, Japan highlights the necessity of possessing the primary values connected with money and success.

Japan ranks 10-11 out of 69 nations on the Uncertainty Avoidance Index (UAI), with a score of 92. The Uncertainty Avoidance Index in Japan is high.

LONG VS SHORT TERM ORIENTATION This component demonstrates how, despite dealing with difficulties of the present and future, every civilization must keep some links to its own history, and cultures place differing emphasis on these two existential goals. Japan ranks as one of the most Long-Term Oriented societies, with a score of 88.  From this perspective, the Japanese are hardly strangers to fatalism. You give it you are all for the rest of your life, and that is all you can do.

INDULGENCE VS RESTRAINT "Indulgence" denotes a lack of control, whereas "Restraint" denotes a high amount of restraint. As a result, civilizations can be divided into two categories: extravagant and restricted. Japan  has a culture of restraint, as seen by its low score of 42.  In addition, unlike Indulgent civilizations, Restrained societies place less importance on leisure time and exercise greater control over the fulfilment of their needs.
