Scene 4 (56s)

ABSTRACT. The focus in this presentation for new technology about to satellite, it’s similar to satellite but its station is stratosphere. Firstly introduces the wireless communications and then switches to fourth generation in wireless communications. Then discusses about High Altitude Airships, the “STRATELLITES” which are actually unmanned Kelvar balloons filled with helium gas which are used instead of towers for wireless communication, each of which replace hundreds of towers and reduce the cost of wireless communications. They also overcome the disadvantage of simple towers which could not provide proper coverage in the hilly areas..

Scene 5 (1m 48s)

INTRODUCTION. Why do people want to develop this technology?.

Scene 6 (2m 24s)

I think there are very few people who know about this technology and I wanted everyone to know about this sophisticated model. That’s when I chose to work on this topic so that people around me can learn about it and I can also enhance my knowledge..

Scene 7 (3m 9s)

what are the previous technologies addressing the issue and how this new technology is different?.

Scene 8 (4m 23s)

CONCEPTS OF TOPIC. What is the principle or topic behind this technology?.

Scene 9 (5m 17s)

What is the concept behind this technology?. Stratellite can serve a 3,00,000 sq mile area . stratellites will carry over20,000 pounds of radar and other equipments and communic ation relays. They are planned to remain on station for one year period of time. They are far cheaper to launch and to maintain. For a country 2 stratellites are enough instead of 1000’s of cellphone towers. There are many rural and remote areas where the internet facility is not yet available. If stratelites are introduced, it will become easier to provide signal even in rural areas...

HARDWARE/SOFTWARE ASPECTS. General characteristics A. Length: 245 feet in (75 m) B. Width: 145 feet in (44 m) c. Height: 87 feet in (26.5 m) D. Volume: 1.3 million feet3 (420,000 m3) Performance Service ceiling: 70,000 ft (21,000 m) Outer layer or envelopes, made of Dynamo (high-tech m aterial sometimes called Spectra) Navigation: 6 onboardSystem units connected to the ship's engi nes ..

Scene 11 (6m 44s)

WORKING:-. Stratellite will provide signal for mobiles laptops anywhere. Normally 2 stratellites can provide signal for whole country with accuracy when compared to normal cellphone towers. Using airship technology, a stratellite is above the cloud and so can be power ed by solar cells and propelledby electric motors which are designed to keep the craft at a single pre- programmed axis GPS coordinate and check with higher satellites that it stays in that position..

Scene 12 (7m 20s)

LAUNCHING OF A STRATELLITE. Launching costs are next to nothing, and at nearly 250 feet long, t hey have enough lift for sophisticated computation equipment-more than most conventional satellites.Placing a communication into the stratosphere in the form of an airship has never been done before. such a platform can fundamentally change how the world delivers wireless telecommunications and the way we as individuals communicate;.

Scene 13 (8m 2s)

APPLICATIONS OF STRATELLITE. 2. 1. 3. 4. In environmental disasters telecommunication breaks down within seconds, Re-installation of the infrastructure takes weeks or months..

Scene 14 (9m 13s)

FUTURE SCOPE. Stratelites provide the required facilities of wireless communication more efficiently than the ordinary towers. The Stratellite will allow subscribers to easily communicate in ‘both directions’ using readily available wireless technology.” They minimise the cost of communication. Stratellites present a mobile, low-cost, high-capacity alternative to satellite relays and cell towers. Once the defects of Stratellites have been overcome and become more reliable, they play a vital role in the future generation wireless communication..
