[Audio] The Beetle house The Beetle House is located in the village of Gigi near Salzburg, Austria. The house was designed by Markus Voglreiter and if you have not guessed yet, it is inspired by the car Volkswagen Beetle. The owners bought an ordinary house from the 70s, after which they completely renovated it. The house was completed in 2003 and is an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient house..

[Audio] House na In House NA in Japan there's nowhere to hide. It's all transparent with no privacy in any of the spaces (except for the bathroom of course). The house was made by using 21 individual floor plates placed at various heights. The owners wanted to experience living as nomads in their own home and inspired by the idea of living in a tree..

[Audio] The Snail house In the Bulgarian capital of Sofia theres a rather unusual house in the district of Simeonovo. The 5 storey tall Snail House was designed by local architect Simeon Simeonov and painted all colours of the rainbow. On the snails back there's even a ladybug and a butterfly crawling around. It took around 10 years to complete and was opened to the public in 2009..
