Steps to manage spills-. 1. Proceed to the spill kit location. 2. Open the spill box, put on the PPE spill gloves and eye goggles ..

3. Take the absorbent socks and pads to the spill release and delineate the parameter of the spill containing it , at while not touching the substance release..

4. Ensure that the nearby drainages are covered with the rubber mats from the spill kits..

5. Sprinkle absorbent or pads onto the spill, working from the outside towards the center of the spill ..

6. Collect and contain the clean up residues while using tools ( Brush and Catch pan) to reduce contact with spilled material . 7. Place pads, absorbent and waste into the yellow hazardous bag if its potentially harmful chemical or waste . Inform your supervisor , he will label it and sent for incineration at a suitable authorized facility ..

8. If the waste is not hazardous, employee can through the clean up residue to the normal garbage bin. 9. All used PPE must be disposed of following regulatory requirement using Bin..
