MJ Smith Site Specific Induction. Springvale Drill Camp.
[Audio] Welcome to the MJ Smith, site specific induction. During this induction package I will address specific landowner requirements, environmental hold points, designated access points, and no-go zones as well as basic health and safety requirements for this site..
[Audio] This induction will ONLY cover the construction of the turnout and access track to the Drilling Camp Pad, the pad itself and the development of the Soil Stockpile area. Any other access tracks or well pads will be covered in another induction once the AAP has been revised and released to MJS in the future. There is no access permitted to any other location under this induction..
[Audio] This site is a working agricultural farm. All vehicles entering site must comply with the Arrow Energy Vehicle Hygiene requirements or have a current weed and seed declaration. If any damage is caused to the landowners property or infrastructure, it must be reported to the MJS supervisor immediately. There are 4 trees at the front boundary of the property. These trees are to remain untouched. The maximum speed limit is 40 kilometres per hour. If there has been more than 10 mm of rain, entry is only allowed after the landowner has been consulted by the Arrow Land Liaison Officer. Do not proceed until access has been granted in these circumstances. All dust suppression activities are to be with dam / treated water only. No production water is permitted to be used on site. There is major overland flow within this property and this must not be interfered with, roads and tracks will be constructed to allow for overland flow and the landowner must be consulted. Any wind rows of soil must not impede overland flow areas. All vehicles entering the property must have company signage attached identifying them. Any quarry materials entering the property must have a valid weed and seed declaration accompanying the materials. Soil Stockpiles to be less than 2 metres in height..
[Audio] The access to this property from Dalby is via the Dalby Cecil Plains Road travelling south for 18.5km, turn right into Springvale Road and travel 6.6km and turn right into Springvale Road and travel 1.5km and the entrance is on the left..
[Audio] The Traffic Management Plan dictates clockwise travel around the existing silos. Signage will be installed to ensure this is easily understood. No parking in or around the silos under any circumstances..
[Audio] There is no cultural heritage restraints for this initial work area. The standard cultural heritage conditions apply..
[Audio] All personnel and subcontractors are to be inducted prior to access to this site. MJ Smith will be operating heavy machine onsite and call up signage will be in place and must be adhered to. MJ Smiith employees will operate on UHF channel 29. Do not attempt to pass any machinery until you have called up and received positive communication back from the operator that it is safe to pass. When passing heavy machinery, you should wait until the ground engaging equipment has been lowered to the ground such as the excavator bucket or the grader blade should be on the ground before you pass. The standard PPE required for this site is listed here. There is overhead powerlines across the access tracks and entry point of this worksite. Catenary lines and yellow signage will be in place..
