[Audio] Welcome to the overview of JCAPCPL's 2.81 megawatt rooftop solar project installed on the C-A-P-L line roof. This ground-breaking project developed under a boot model in collaboration with M/S Ampin Energy one of India's leading solar generation companies marks a significant step for JCAPCPL towards sustainable energy. The Power Purchase Agreement for this project was signed on 9th August 2023. After months of meticulous planning and execution the project was successfully installed and commissioned in March 31st 2024. The plant is currently operational generating clean energy for JCAPCPL..
[Audio] The project has been established with several key objectives in mind. First it aims to generate clean energy contributing about 8% of JCAPCPL's total electrical energy consumption. Secondly it seeks to reduce operational costs with expected savings of 1.3 crore rupees in FY-25. Moreover the project is a significant step towards environmental sustainability with an estimated reduction of up to 3 000 tons of C-O-2 emissions annually. Finally the project makes efficient use of previously unused space specifically 13 300 square meters of rooftop area for green energy generation..
[Audio] The timeline of this project highlights key milestones that have been achieved. In August 2023 the Power Purchase Agreement was successfully finalized and signed between JCAPCPL and Ampin Energy. By December 2023 engineering and procurement activities were completed including design finalization securing statutory approvals material procurement and subcontractor finalization. January 2024 marked the mobilization and installation phase where vendor registration safety training and installation of solar panels inverters and A-C-D-Bs took place. Finally in April 2024 the project underwent rigorous testing secured all necessary post-completion statutory approvals and was successfully commissioned..
[Audio] The rooftop solar project is comprised of several high-quality components. It includes 5 154 high-efficiency mono-crystalline solar modules and 19 units of 100KW inverters. The power generated is evacuated through 4 grid interface panels connected to all E-C-Rs at 415 volts at multiple locations throughout the plant. The project is also equipped with advanced cloud-based online solar monitoring and generation optimization technology supported by solar radiation sensors..
[Audio] This rooftop solar project provides multiple benefits. It significantly contributes to climate change mitigation by supporting global efforts to limit temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Additionally it aligns with India's net zero target of 2070 and TSL's goal of achieving net zero by 2045. Economically the project reduces operational costs by lowering electricity bills. Furthermore it supports India's National Solar Mission which aims to achieve 100GW of solar capacity thereby advancing sustainable development..
[Audio] Finally here are some visual highlights of the project including a bird's-eye view video that showcases the scale and scope of this rooftop solar installation..
