[Audio] In July 1945, after operation overlord was a success and the Axis except Japan has surrendered already while Japanese military was still fighting for their life against the Allies, The US government has decided to send out a postdam declaration..

[Audio] The potsdam declaration was an ultimatum to the Japanese Government to surrender or deal with the "prompt and utter destruction", Japanese Government rushed to have an emergency meeting in Tokyo to consider allies demands of surrender which they declined their declaration and proceeded to be at war with the allies..

[Audio] The Manhattan Project was created by the US government, and recently completed the first success of the atomic bomb. President Truman decided to use the atomic bomb in Japan as he believed that this would save Japanese lives and knew that this would break the Japanese's fighting will for the war..

[Audio] By August 6, 1945, the atomic bomb known as "the Little Boy" was launched over Hiroshima city and killed thousands of people. Just 3 days after the atomic bomb, on August 9, 1945, an atomic bomb called " the Fat Man" was launched at Nagasaki city and bombed the whole place. All the toxicity in both cities led to the Japanese deaths less than a minute, and others survived with their bodies filled with blisters; they eventually died from Cancer and other deadly diseases caused by the toxicity and deadly radiation..

[Audio] President Truman was right; the Japanese surrendered just 2 weeks after the incident and formally surrendered by September 2, 1945; they signed the " Official Instrument of Surrender" and this led to World War 2 at its close. The US government occupied the nation and changed entirely things in Japan.
