Barista Service At A Glance. Barista Service (Coffee Brewing and Milk Preparation) is an 8-month program conducted in modular method. The participants are required to fulfil the 40 hours theoretical lessons and 160 hours practical lessons which amounted to 5 weeks in total (1 week theoretical and 4 weeks practical). At the end of the training, participants will have to go through assessments (i.e., theoretical and practical) to evaluate their skills and understanding of the subject and also to qualify them as Barista. Upon the training completion, participants are required to undergo a 6-month On-the-Job Training with our industry partners. The main objectives of the training program are to provide the participants with essential skills and knowledge for entry-level positions in a café as Barista or even starting up their own business in this industry, thus creating more job opportunity..
