NATS – Network Automation Tool System

[Audio] NATS a.k.a Network Automation Tool System is an in-house developed program by PSD to proactively monitor cellular health status of IPVPN wireless CE. [Audio]1. User i.e. NetOps team (e.g.: Resident Engineer or 1st & 2nd Level support).Instruct NATS to perform cellular health check script on customer (e.g.: Bank Islam & CIMB).Execute one time / Scheduler basis (e.g.: run daily at 8am). [Audio]2. NATS retrieve info from Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH). NATS retrieve customer information from EDWH, based on user request. EDWH will pass the required info to NATS. [Audio]3. NATS telnet or SSH to selected CPEs. NATS issue the required commands to selected CPE via Telnet or SSH. NATS capture all output commands from CPEs. [Audio]4. NATS provide result to user in various formats (e.g.: html, csv, txt). User download the result via NATS portal. If meet low performance criteria, user create predictive TT & escalate to DDZ or Telco team.
