[Audio] Our discussion on state employment opportunities through the use of (A-I ) continues as we take a closer look at the proposed service and support provided by Video Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service for young adults with high-functioning autism. The "Color My Sky" Support Center for Persons with Autism also known as the S-P-A center implements the V-RICH model which focuses on vocational relationship independent living community and health. Our aim is to tailor our services to meet the individual needs of young adults with H-F-A while also offering parenting education and workshops for frontline workers. Our ultimate goal is to assist with the transition into adulthood and provide a smooth and supported journey through different life stages. With the implementation of (A-I ) technology we are confident in our ability to bridge the gap in state employment opportunities for individuals with H-F-A and help them reach their full potential..

Scene 5 (2m 15s)

[Audio] As we delve into the subject of state employment opportunities using (A-I ) let's examine the current vocational services offered in S-P-A centers. These services typically consist of small group activities with 4-6 participants held quarterly in 4 sessions. The topics covered in these trainings include job transition interview skills and workplace communication. However follow-up sessions are only available on an as-needed basis after completion leaving a lack of ongoing support for individuals with high-functioning autism. Additionally career exploration is infrequently provided through field trips and talks. Our proposed "VocationAI foR HFA" service aims to fill this void and offer consistent assistance for young adults with H-F-A in their transition to adulthood..

Scene 7 (3m 11s)

[Audio] Moving on to the next slide we have identified a crucial service gap for individuals with high-functioning autism. This gap includes a lack of systematic services that align personal interests skill training and job selection. There is also limited manpower for effective and timely support leading to disjointed learning experiences and inconsistent transfer of skills. Additionally the limited variation of experiences and training intensity fails to recognize their abilities making it difficult to achieve controlled and repeated training in reality. This ultimately limits their opportunities for professional growth and fulfillment as they miss out on essential practice and refinement for skills development. Our company Video Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service is proposing a solution through our service VocationAI for H-F-A--. Through the use of technology and vocational programs our service aims to empower individuals with high-functioning autism in Hong Kong. It not only addresses the high unemployment rate for those with autism but also bridges the service gap while fostering independence skill acquisition and meaningful employment opportunities through thorough career planning. Moving forward let's take a closer look at the statistics and details of VocationAI for H-F-A Service..

Scene 8 (4m 31s)

[Audio] Welcome to slide number eight. Today we will discuss the rationale behind our proposed service VocationAI for H-F-A--. Our company Video Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service aims to be a leader in integrating technology and vocational programs for individuals with high-functioning autism. In Hong Kong there are approximately 10 000 students with A-S-D enrolled in public schools and the general unemployment rate is 5.8%. However for individuals with autism who are 15 years old or above the unemployment rate jumps to 12.4%. This significant gap must be addressed to support the transition to adulthood for individuals with H-F-A--. Our mission is to empower young individuals with H-F-A by filling this service gap through fostering independence enhancing skill acquisition and facilitating meaningful employment opportunities. This will be achieved through thorough career planning in line with the Education Bureau's 2023 goals and data from the Census and Statistics Department in 2021. Our service aims to provide the necessary support and resources for these individuals to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives..

[Audio] In order to better understand external factors that may impact our service it is important to analyze the market and identify strengths weaknesses opportunities and threats. One strength we possess is our expertise and experience in social services which provides a solid foundation for the development of VocationAI for individuals with H-F-A--. However a potential weakness is the limited availability of skilled professionals who specialize in both H-F-A and (A-I ) technology. Additionally there may be a lack of awareness and understanding of the benefits of utilizing (A-I ) in vocational support for H-F-A--. Despite these challenges there are numerous opportunities for us to develop innovative solutions and expand our reach through strategic partnerships and collaborations. Of course we must also consider potential threats such as competition from established vocational support services and the risk of technology becoming outdated. However with our commitment to continuous improvement and staying up-to-date with developments we are confident in the success and impact of VocationAI for H-F-A--. With this understanding let us now delve into the details of our proposed service..

Scene 14 (11m 12s)

[Audio] Slide 14: Swot Analysis In our proposed service "VocationAI foR H-F-A-" we have identified several strengths and weaknesses. Our strengths include a model-supported service and an open-minded practice ensuring evidence-based and adaptable support for young adults with high-functioning autism (H-F-A--). However we also recognize weaknesses such as limited community involvement and integration limited promotional activities and a lack of job variety for the individuals we serve. Our service boasts a strong staff competency with a proven track record and achievements that establish our credibility. We also see opportunities for growth and advancement in the field of autism support but acknowledge potential threats such as technological limitations and sensitive information management. Additionally we are aware of the high competition for qualified staff and the need to recruit and retain them successfully. We believe that by continuously conducting research and utilizing new technologies we can overcome any obstacles and make an even greater impact in the H-F-A community..

Scene 15 (12m 25s)

[Audio] This slide will discuss the strengths of our proposed service VocationAI for H-F-A--. Our service is built on the V-RICH Model which focuses on providing fundamental support for young adults with high-functioning autism in their transition to adulthood. We also regularly conduct research to ensure we are utilizing the most effective and evidence-based technology for our users. Lastly we are proud to have a permanent site granted by the Social Welfare Department providing a stable and secure physical space for our service. These strengths enable us to offer a comprehensive and effective service for young adults with high-functioning autism.".

Scene 16 (13m 38s)

[Audio] Moving on to the next point weaknesses of our proposed service "VocationAI for HFA". The first weakness is the limited community involvement and integration. This includes the lack of frequent collaboration with community centers and organizations to hold activities such as outings. This limits the social integration and understanding of individuals with H-F-A by others through other channels. Another weakness is the limited promotional activities. Our center is not actively using digital platforms and social channels to raise awareness and understanding of individuals with H-F-A--. We also do not actively promote our center's services and seek collaboration through other channels. And now onto the next slide which states "There is not enough information to summarize..

Scene 17 (14m 26s)

[Audio] Continuing our discussion on the potential of (A-I ) to create employment opportunities for individuals with high-functioning autism we must also recognize the increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorder (A-S-D--) in our society. In recent decades there has been a significant growth in understanding and acceptance of A-S-D leading to a more inclusive environment for those on the spectrum. This is evident in the rising prevalence of A-S-D particularly in Asia as reported by Qiu and others in 2020. As the diagnosis rate for A-S-D continues to rise there is a clear demand for our proposed service. Our mission to provide vocational support for young adults with high-functioning autism is now more important than ever. And with the advancements in technology we are able to offer evidence-based interventions through the use of (A-I ) and virtual reality at a more affordable cost. One of the major advantages of integrating (A-I ) into our service is the increased accessibility and flexibility it offers. With the ability to adapt to various work settings our vocational training program can cater to a wide range of individuals with high-functioning autism creating a more inclusive and supportive work environment for our clients. Additionally our company is dedicated to forming research partnerships with institutions and universities to further advance our understanding and services for individuals with high-functioning autism. By promoting collaboration we can work together towards a better future for those on the spectrum. Finally as we expand our vocational programs we are actively networking with more businesses and organizations to provide inclusive employment opportunities for our clients. Through these partnerships we aim to build a more inclusive society where individuals with high-functioning autism can thrive in the workforce..

Scene 18 (16m 26s)

[Audio] Good afternoon everyone. In this slide we will be discussing the potential threats that our proposed service VocationAI for H-F-A may encounter. The first threat is technological limitations. This refers to the possibility of encountering technical issues internet instability and accessibility barriers for both our users and staff. These challenges may affect the smooth delivery and usage of our service. The second threat is sensitive information management. As our service deals with sensitive and confidential information it is important that we comply with legal and regulatory frameworks to protect the privacy of our users. Any data leakage or cyber attacks can jeopardize the trust and safety of our service. Third we have staff recruitment and retention. It is crucial to recruit and retain qualified staff to ensure the quality and effectiveness of our service. However this is not always a guaranteed process and can pose challenges for our organization. Another potential threat is a negative training experience for our service users. Unsuccessful training can lead to negative feelings and a decrease in self-esteem for our users hindering their progress and growth. Lastly we must address the limited job variety for individuals with H-F-A--. Currently job opportunities are limited to cafes and salons and there is a lack of job opportunities in fields such as engineering and IT. This can limit the potential for our users to explore and pursue their interests and strengths. It is important for us to be aware of these potential threats and address them accordingly to ensure the success and impact of our service. Thank you for your attention..

[Audio] Our company Video Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service has identified a service gap in the vocational support for young adults with high-functioning autism (H-F-A--). In order to bridge this gap we have developed a unique service "VocationAI foR H-F-A-" which utilizes the latest technologies of (A-I ) and VR. Through this service we aim to provide simulated job interview training that is tailored to the specific needs of individuals with H-F-A--. Our program includes four sessions per week for a duration of two months. The first stage of our program involves e-learning for job applications and interviews which helps establish a rapport between the client and our occupational therapist. This is followed by the second stage where our clients practice job interviews with a "Simulated Interviewer". This stage increases in difficulty with different levels and types of interviewers to prepare our clients for different scenarios. The third stage includes a review of their performance with a "Simulated Job Coach" who provides personalized strategies based on the individual's performance in six domains. Our program also incorporates (A-I ) technologies such as Natural Language Processing Sentiment Analysis and Facial Recognition. This enables us to analyze verbal responses emotional tone and non-verbal cues such as facial expressions and body language. With the use of (A-I ) we can provide a more comprehensive and effective training that traditional methods are unable to provide. In order to enhance performance we have also incorporated a set of rules. Our clients must receive at least four positive reinforcements in 1 out of 3 interviews to progress to a higher level. This positive reinforcement is crucial in developing sustainable behavioral changes. With "VocationAI foR H-F-A-" we hope to provide young adults with H-F-A the necessary skills and support to navigate the job market with confidence and success. Thank you for considering our proposed service and we look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you..
