R elated Literature. According to Takeshi Okada, Kentaro Ishibashi, having an interaction with art works of other artist, artist create original works and expression styles. Having being exposed to animated films, artist imitate the style on which they found interesting. Imitation is not only mimicking but also create goals and perspective (Okoda, Ishibashi 2016). Imitation is also a form of learning; Imitation is not just the sincerest form of flattery— .” –George Bernard Shaw, playwright. In doing imitation, artist learn how to select what specific elements they want to learn whether its line art or to the color. On Christine Nishiyama’s shares of experience she copied various art style in order to learn how animators create the characters she takes interest on. You can copy or imitate other artists art style and try to learn from it and create your own art style. “For me, this involved copying and drawing a whole lot of Sailor Moon and Pokémon when I was young.”.

Theoretical Framework. This research is anchored by the studies of different perspectives of people who has a background on arts. According to Takeshi Okada, Kentaro Ishibashi, having an inspiration and interaction of different works of other artists creates originality in works and shows expressionism in art styles. Watching animated films will let the artists copy or imitate the style from which they are interested. This also sets their mind into perfecting their style. (Okoda, Ishibashi 2016). Imitating the art style of your favorite artist, you practice your drawing skills. Training them will have good results, like going to the gym and lifting weights, you train your body to be able to lift more heavy weights, just like in training your drawing skills or art skills, you train your hands to perform better and produce better results. By imitating, you also discover more of yourself. You learn what are your weak points and you can find a solution to further strengthen your skills to conquer those weak points. Jessie Oleson Moore (December 14, 2018) states Take in everything, not just drawings: books, museum exhibits, websites dedicated to fine art, pop art, cartoon strips — anything you can find. Notice the stuff that makes you say, “More, please.” That’s your first clue to the kinds of artworks that may end up inspiring your personal style. There are a lot of kinds of art therefore there are many to choose from and to be inspired of. Now of course, you should not in take too much literally, because it might lead you to be overwhelmed by the things you have learned. Try absorbing it slowly, observation is crucial at this point and, do not let yourself be overwhelmed by the information that you gather, discover, not overload. If you ever find yourself getting overwhelmed by the information you have gathered, took some time off and rest, in these days, you can stop trying to imitate the style of your favorite artists and just rest. It will also help to breakdown the process of the artist you admire in that way; you can easily follow the flow of how they make their artworks..
