What is Agneepath scheme. Agneepath Yojana is a new scheme introduced by the government of India on 14 th June 2022 for Indian youth to served in the armed forces. The youth selected in the Agneepath scheme will be categorised as Agniveers the armed force is will be recruiting 46000 Agniveers this year through this scheme. With the announcement of the scheme a new window of opportunity has been opened for the youth to serve their nation for a period of 4 years..

Benefits of the Agneepath scheme. The Central government had said that Agniveers will get Rs 30,000 to 45,000 per month as salary. At the end of the four year contract 25% of Agniveer will be inducted into the army and the rest will get rupees 11 to 12 lakh in one lakh at the time of retirement..
