Inciting Incident Rising action Things take on a worse turn when a man named Gary joins the group of survivors. Resolutions Climax Falling actions Survivors has to take extreme measures in order to save themselves. After seeing some warning signs from Gary many begin to lose their trust in him. He later succeeds in killing more than half of the survivors. The movie transcends into five years later where Malorie is living with her and Olympia's children and Tom. They receive transmissions from survivors and learns about a safe community hidden in the forest. Malorie and children go blindfolded down the river and encounter several obstacles. They eventually reach the safe community. which is a former school for the blind..
