Moreover, at a CAGR of 33.91 per cent, the secondary sector has been the fastest growing among the three sectors from 2004-05 to 2015-16. It was driven by manufacturing, construction and electricity, gas & water supply. Sikkim had a total installed power generation capacity of 414.48 megawatt as of June 2016. In Sikkim, industry plays a vital role in the economy of the State. Sikkim has seen a great boom in the industries in the recent years. Sikkim has now emerged as an Industrial Hub. Sikkim had long been an agro -based society, but situations changed thoroughly in the recent years. With the acceleration in the socio-political aspect of the society of Sikkim, the growth of industry in Sikkim has been tremendous. Some of the industries of Sikkim that deserve a special mention in this context are: Pharmaceuticals, Eco-tourism(Hotels), Food Processing, Breweries, Cosmetics, Security Ink, Mattress , Corrugated Boxes.

The economy of Delhi is the 13 th largest among states and union territories of India. The nominal GSDP of the NCT of Delhi for 2020-21 was estimated at rupees 15.98 Lakh crore (US$220billion) recording an annual growth Of 8.1%. Growth rate in 2014-15 was 9.25. In 2020-21, the tertiary sector contributed 85% of Delhi’s GSDP Followed by the secondary & primary sectors at 12% &3% Respectively. The services sector recorded an annual Growth of 7.3%. Delhi is the largest commercial center in northern India. As of 2020, recent estimates of the economy of the urban Area of Delhi have ranged from $320 billion (PPP metro GDP) and it has $210billion as (GDP Nominal) ranking it Either the most or second -most productive metro area of India . According to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflow in Delhi stood at US$9,443.83 million between October 2019 and March 2020. In 2020, 32 IEMs with proposed investments worth Rs3,710 crore (US$507.26 million) were filled in Delhi. Delhi has become a start-up hub over the past few years.
