Scene 2

The analysis is about a poem named “the black man’s son” written by Oswald Durand. The poem is about a twenty year old man who was in love  with a  white woman named Lise but he could not be with her because he was too  dark.The  black man , his  fathe  r, was married to a white  woman,his  mother.

Scene 3

The  mood of the poem is one of love. The poet created a sense of romance talking about how  he  loved  Lise and describing  her even though they could not be together

Scene 4

The tone of the poem is  sorrowful because  even though they love  each other they can’t be together because they have different skin  colour

Scene 5

I think the theme is no one is different because even though she was white and he was black they still loved each other

Scene 6

The poet is  using standard   english ,  he is  using similes like “yet  my mother was as white as Lise” and hyperbole like “ And when she blushed in fear or in delight Pomegranates seemed to bloom”.
