The ADL project manager owning the development project is the authorized project manager for the cloud account which is related to the project. Intern Project managers cannot be Project owners. The project manager is responsible for operating the cloud expenses within the budget. The project manager can delegate approvals to the project coordinator. Yet the Project manager will be liable for the account. The project manager should approve granting access to a cloud account or a project..

All cloud account access should be done via the Jira support portal and The Project manager and Cloud Account Owner or Architect should approve the access request. For the non-ADL users, The Project manager should approve the access, request approval from client SPOC, and sign NDA with the external user in the new account creation..

The last working day for the internal users should be informed by the Cloud Account Owner or the project manager, and for the external users, should be informed by the contact person for the external entity or the project manager to cloud team to remove from the Cloud Account Project Managers, Cloud Account Owners, and Architects are responsible for Access Key rotations. And they will receive automated emails 5 to 10 days before the expiration. Expired Access Keys will be disabled after 3 consecutive automated email notifications for R&D projects. Project Managers and Cloud Account Owners are responsible for service outages and delivery impacts in such cases and responsible for production systems if any security threats/issues occur due to delays in rotating the Access Keys..

At the time of provisioning a cloud account, it will be tagged as a billable, non-billable, or operations project and as a project or multiple projects. The Cloud Account Owner and the Project Manager are liable to inform the Cloud team if there are any changes to the state of billability, any changes to the list of projects running in the Cloud account, and if the Cloud Account needs to be deactivated or discontinued. Project Managers are accountable for ensuring adherence to approved budgets, preventing cloud resource misuse, maintaining up-to-date resource versions, and mitigating vulnerabilities and outages resulting from outdated versions. The project manager is liable for providing up-to-date and accurate information related to the cloud account whenever requested by the cloud team within the given period and conducting an audit to review the resources quarterly along with the Cloud Deployment Site Survey In the event, the Project Manager fails to notice the change of the state and an additional cloud bill is generated that cannot be recovered from the customer or any means, the charge will be tagged to the practice..
