[Audio] The PCard Program for the State of Georgia is overseen by the State Purchasing Division ( SPD) of the Department of Administrative Services ( DOAS) and by The Governor's Office of Planning & Budget ( OPB). The Purchasing Card ( PCard) Program streamlines payment and purchasing procedures and reduces the administrative burden traditionally associated with small dollar value purchases by assigning eligible employees a State sanctioned, Bank of America Visa PCard. While preapprovals are required for most pcard purchases, the pcard can be used for urgent, unplanned or non-routine purchases. Fort Valley State University PCard Program.
