[Audio] Cytology Based Screening Conventional Pap smear : Sample from cervical scrape is obtained using cervical brush/broom and smeared directly onto a glass slide immediately fixed with 95% alcohol and stained with Papanicolaou method for microscopic examination. Liquid-based Cytology: Sample from cervical scrape is obtained using cervical brush/broom and suspended in a vial of preservative for transport to the laboratory.
