I am honored to introduce our company – P2D Konverters Ltd to your organization.

P2D is a relatively new formed company with certificate of incorporation number

62509 of October 2007. We are a company of nationals of Tanzania based in Dar

The name P2D is a short form for Paper to Digital, accordingly we deal with

Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) as our core business. The goal

of EDMS is to manage all the organization's documents-- computer-generated and

paper-based. We also provide consultancy services in the field of IT governance

and Strategic Information Systems in general.

The kind of work we do is of great relevance to organizations or industries that use

a lot of paper documents by nature of their business. Many institutions already

have some systems (Database Management Systems) that help them to capture key

facts about the business in general or business components. What is missing

however is a system of giving a decision maker a full picture of an issue he/she is

working on. This kind of information is most of the time contained in actual

documents. For this reason it is very rare for any action or decision to be taken or

made if a file containing a document is not brought to a decision maker’s desk.

We think that Massana Hospital like all other hospitals depend a lot on the flow of

documents at least in as far as patient records are concerned and must be suffering

from physical document problems. We can only imagine situations like when a

doctor needs a patient’s file to learn about past medical history and treatment of a

patient or a number of doctors may wish to review a patient’s case through the

patient’s record, etc. So in these situations a fast delivery of a patient’s record

would go a long way to improve the hospital’s services to their patients. A.
