Pampering of pets is good but overpampering is not good because it may have very bad consequences. Sometimes we feed our pets in excess which may cause health issues like obesity, stomach aching, etc. overpampering is done in the following ways-overfeeding the pets, not giving them proper exercise, giving it all the things of luxury. Let’s talk about the consequences. When the pet owners bath their pets too much or dress them for long hours then it is very bad for their fur. Overpampered pets becomes very aggressive when they don’t get the pampering treatment. If the pet owners do not train their pets to stay without them then they can develop severe separation anxiety which will result in their non responsive behavior. Overpampering can also result in their too much dependence on the owners which will result in their laziness. All these consequences can lead to a bad health of a pet. Like in the story we saw how mrs Pumphrey overpampered her dog by overfeeding him, giving him less exercise which resulted in his obesity , laziness and reduction in his attraction towards the food..
