SUN MOON AND STARS. Sun is actually a star , a big ball of hot gases . It is much bigger than earth but looks smaller as it is far away from earth. Sunlight helps plant to grow and to make their food. Sunlight also kills germs. Moon is the natural satellite of earth , it moves around the sun. Moon has no light of it’s own , it reflects light of sun. moon is made up of rocks and dust. There is no air and water on the moon, so no life is there. Moon takes 28 days to complete one revolution around the sun. We see different phases of moon everyday. They are crescent moon(c shaped), new moon( no moon) and full moon. Stars are the huge balls of fire like sun but they look small as they are far away from us..
