Training of sanitation of workers under Project Anubhav . Oil India Limited (OIL) has been allotted KAMAKHYA TEMPLE at Guwahati , Assam, for its development and maintenance as a Swachh Iconic Place . OIL had signed a MoU with Tourism Department, Government of Assam (ATDC), on 16.5.17, for the development and maintenance of Kamakhya Temple Complex, for a project cost of Rs 25.00 Crore of which more than 80% of the works are complete..

Education schemes. Sustainable livelihoods Generation schemes :-. Project rupantar - OIL with the partnership of the State Institute of Rural Development ( SIRD ), Assam, started Project Rupantar in 2003, which is a sustainable livelihood generation project based on the self-help group (SHGs) and joint liability group (JLG) model in the agro based sector. It has a central focus to assist SHGs for development of agro based industries like bamboo cultivation, floriculture, fishery, sericulture, organic farming, etc. and other allied activities like duck farming, pig rearing, goat farming, dairy farming, handloom, small business, etc., along with a Computer Centre, thereby helping the unemployed youths to find alternate employment providing a scope for entrepreneurship. Since 2003, OIL has exclusively formed 8,500 SHG’s / JLG’s to which the company has extended 50% subsidy. In 2017-18, 400 SHGs /JLGs consisting of around 1850 families were formed..

2.Agriculture Project. Started in the year 1991 . The primary objective is to encourage the unemployed youth to adopt Agriculture as a means of livelihood and thereby attains economic empowerment.

Prject OIL Jeevika. Launched in F.Y-16-17 . The project is community cluster based sustainable rural Livelihood promotion initiative ,which aims at imparting skill development and up-gradation training to the targated beneficiaries ob bee-keeping and honey processing, mustard, buckwheat and local pulse processing as well as providing handholding support to them for generation of alternate source of Income..
