 According to this theory millions of years ago all of Earth's continents were connected as one massive landmass called Pangaea. Due to geological forces the continents have slowly moved to their present-day locations. One fascinating part of this theory is the existence of Beringia a land bridge that connected Asia and North America during the ice ages. This allowed for migration of humans and animals leading to the colonization of the Americas and the development of early life there.

Continental drift is the theory that earth’s continents were once joined together in a super continental called Pangaea and have slowly moved to their current positions over geological time. The land bridge, known as Beringia, connected Asia and North America during the ice ages, allowing the migration of humans and animals which led to the peopling of the Americans and the development of early life there.

 we learned about the incredible theory of continental drift. According to this theory
 millions of years ago
 all of Earth's continents were connected as one massive landmass called Pangaea. Due to geological forces
 the continents have slowly moved to their present-day locations. One fascinating part of this theory is the existence of Beringia
