There are over 190 million drug users around the world and the problem has been increasing at alarming rates, especially among young adults under the age of 30 ..

Causes of drug use :. Drugs of abuse are used by people for various different reasons which may include: Curiosity & peer pressure Use of prescription may have turned into recreational use & become addictive Used as part of religious practices or rituals Obtaining creative inspirations.

Symptoms. Feeling that you have to use the drug regularly Having intense urges for the drug that block out any thoughts Over time, needing more drug to get the same effect Taking larger amounts of the drug over a longer period of time than you intended Making certain that you maintain a drug supply Spending money on the drug, even though you cannot afford it Not meeting obligations & work responsibilities.

Problems at school or work. Frequently missing or sudden disinterest and drop in performance.
