[Virtual Presenter] We are pleased to introduce ourselves to the new members of the department. Hello we are Harsh Yadav a second-year MSc student of your department. We are running for the position of Vice-President of the D U C S Society for the upcoming term. We have been passionate about managing communications and organizing events since our Bachelor's days. During that time we co-organized two major tech fests that saw participation from over 1 000 students across inter and intra-college levels. We also organized an inter-college badminton team selection tournament at M-A-C handling over 150 students as the Captain of the badminton team. We were also chosen as the member of the Student Advisory Committee MAC by the students of our department and worked as the bridge between administration faculties and students. In the third year we consecutively won three hackathons which led us to plan and organize the very first hackathon of our department. Here at ducs we have been actively involved in various events. Last year we co-organized HackDUCS a hackathon that attracted over 400 participants. Managing this event over three days was challenging but immensely rewarding especially with distinguished judges like Ankit Sir and Mantosh Sir of our department and Girish Sir Scientist-F from D-R-D-O as a guest speaker. We also contributed to our annual magazine Srijan as an editor working closely with both MSc and M-C-A students for about a month. Currently we are facilitating the Google Cloud Arcade program managing over 200 students from 35 plus institutions across India majority of them being from Delhi-NCR region. The ducs society members have a list of responsibilities as we have closely monitored the time we have spent here. Among them there are two major responsibilities. Number 1 ducs Society is responsible for organizing key events throughout the year such as Freshers Diwali Sankalan Holi Annual Sports Competition Basant Panchami Farewell and the Trips. Number 2 beyond event management the society serves as a vital bridge between students and the Head of the Department ensuring that our voices are heard on important issues. Our experiences mentioned above have honed our leadership and organizational skills and we believe they make us well-suited for the Vice-President role.
