Therefore, our teachers work closely with our children to ensure that each child is treated fairly and has the same opportunities as other students to learn and play. We present information through play and activities which involve the child..

[image]. Guidance Procedures. A logo for a learning center Description automatically generated.
Guidance. We believe in a positive approach in child guidance. We will use strategies such as redirecting a child, should a problem occur. This may include letting the child sit with a staff member to discuss the situation, talk about feelings, and engage the child in problem solving, quiet time to calm the child, perhaps read or work on a puzzle, until the child is ready to rejoin the group. We believe the parents are particularly important partners in child guidance. As such, parents will be informed of any problems that persist, or problems that we are unable to resolve. If the situation cannot be resolved and all attempts to correct the problem have exhausted, the parent may be asked to withdraw their child from the program..
