Introduction My name is Colin Cedras , resident of hazendal on the cape flats in the western cape. I have completed a three-year course at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), in ND: Human Resource Management. Currently I`m doing an Advance Diploma in Technical and Vocational Education in my first year. I`m very committed to furthering my professional education, which is essential in this field, and I plan to augment my knowledge by attending and completing relevant courses. Hobbies and Other Interest I’m believe in assisting my community, especially the troubled youngsters. I currently work in the Bokmakierie and Khayelitsha areas with youngsters by nurturing and giving them an alternative in life by participating in the beautiful game of soccer, literacy, arts and crafts and environmental clean ups. In my areas I work with kids from an age of 4 till 26 because I believe each child deserve a second change in life and that “a child in sport is a child out of court” and that you must be the change you want to see. In my experience of working in the community I learned that each troubled youngster just needs that ear and attention to be heard and loved. My vision is to work more closely with all troubled youth because I learned that gangs and gangsterism, drugs and crime affects all parts of the society..
