Research Interests. In my PhD thesis, I am working on the “Energy Security of the Baltic States, 1991-2019” and I have written my M.Phil. Dissertation on “Traditional and Non-traditional Security Challenges in the Baltic States”. So I wanted to know about the social and cultural identity of the Baltic Sea Region that I can connect it with security related issues..

The Baltic Sea, borders, and similar kind of historical events are common grounds that formed the identity of the Baltic sea region. The Baltic Sea Region is a very diverse region in which cultural diversity combined with strong common roots and common cultural heritage that are bases of cooperation in the region..

In my opinion there are so much possibilities available for cooperation on the environmental aspect in the Baltic sea region. Illegal fishing and toxic chemicals have affected the region’s sea beds very badly and it is not good sign for the sustainability of the region..

For the sustainable development in the region, the role of youth and educational institutions are very significant. They should come together and work for future. Local people have no idea about the concept of Baltic Sea Region. So it is important to put the narrative of Baltic Sea identity in the public domain..

Education. Graduated in Political Science (Honours) from Patna University, Patna, Bihar, India. (2011-2014) Masters in Political Science with specialization in International Relation from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP, India. (2014-2016) MPhil in European Studies from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. (2016-2018) Currently Pursuing PhD from Centre for European Studies, SIS, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
