1.) Divisibility: Distributing Tickets. This means each booth will receive 48 tickets. By doing this, I ensure that all booths have enough tickets to keep the games running smoothly without running out too quickly. In case we have additional tickets left over from donations or extra sales, I’ll keep them aside to redistribute if any booth needs more throughout the day. This way, the ticket flow stays consistent..

2. )Order of Operations: Calculating Supplies. For our carnival, we’ll be hosting 6 different games, and each game requires 5 types of supplies to run properly. These supplies range from balls for throwing games, hoops for ring toss, and various small prizes. To determine the total number of supplies needed, I calculated: 5 x 6 = 30.

3.) Factors and Multiples: Snack Pack Distribution.

Scene 5 (1m 39s)

4. )Fractions: Dividing Pizzas. This means each person will get 2 slices of pizza. I’m glad that this works out perfectly without any leftovers or shortages. In case more people show up later or anyone wants seconds, I’ve also arranged for additional pizzas to be ordered throughout the day. I’m keeping an eye on portions and ensuring that no one is left hungry, especially as the carnival continues into the afternoon..

Final Thoughts on the Carnival Organization. By carefully planning the division of resources — whether it’s tickets, supplies, snacks, or food — I’ve ensured that the carnival will run smoothly and that everyone gets an equal opportunity to participate in the activities. Having done all these calculations ahead of time helps me avoid any last-minute chaos and guarantees that everything is well-distributed. With this plan in place, I’m confident that the carnival will be a fun, fair, and enjoyable experience for everyone attending!.
