In 2020- A joint statement was signed between the two sides to support the education reform strategy of the Vietnamese Government. In April 2021, the sides signed a MoU on the legal framework for educational cooperation to focus on vocational training. Vietnam spends 20% of its national budget on education and training. Vietnam attracted 500 foreign-funded educational projects of about $ 4 billion. Currently, 40 UK Funded education projects in Vietnam. It is identified as a socio-economic development strategy. Vietnam plans to increase the number of joints in training programs with top-ranked UK universities. Vietnam will create prestigious British schools to open their branches..

The British Government supports English learning, provides learning resources, and increases scholarships for Vietnamese students. The national assembly asked the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training to work with UK's education body to further foster the country's education quality. The strategic partnership will focus on Vietnam's development in multiple segments like science, technology, and innovation to help the human Labour in developing their digital skills.
