Are German managers under different kinds of pressures than their counterparts in the US? What are the implications of these different systems (US vs Germany, liberal market economy vs coordinated market economy) for employees? Given the differences in national business systems (and the resulting varieties of capitalism) is it possible to develop one strategic approach to IHRM across an MNC’s operations?.
