[Audio] Goodevening. First of all, I would like to say thank you to all of our dealers and partners who are present here tonight..

[Audio] We would like to give you an update regarding our new and upcoming product. R32 air-conditioner will be launched soon and there will be new sets of Room, Packaged and VRF Air-conditioners.

[Audio] The decision of MHI to transition to R32 is driven by many factors. Number one factor is because of it's environmental impact Global warming potential and Ozone depletion potential are used to measure the environmental impact of a refrigerant. As you can see both R32 and R410a have zero ODP but the GWP value of R410a is significantly higher than the R32.

[Audio] Second factor is because of its cooling performance and efficiency. Theoretically, R32 has a potential refrigerating effect of 1.5times higher than the R410a. It means that with the use of R32 lesser energy and refrigerant charge will be required to achieve desired cooling. Third reason is that R32 is recyclable and easier to handle because this refrigerant is a single component unlike R410a that is a blend of two refrigerants.

[Audio] Last reason is because of safety. Although R32 is classified as a low flammable gas, This refrigerant is still considered safe to use in household appliances..

[Audio] Lets begin with the product update. First topic is the new Room air-conditioners and Packaged air-conditioners that are going to be launched in the next few months. Please take note that all pictures and specifications that I am going to show are preliminary information only..

[Audio] Existing deluxe model will be replaced by the new R32 model. Available capacities are still 1, 1.5 and 2.0 Hp. Pipe limitation and functions are still the same.

[Audio] ZR-W will be the new Premium wall mounted type. Available capacities are 2.5, 3.0 and 4.0HP Functions and pipe limitation are still the same.

[Audio] New R32 FDT ceiling cassette will be available from 2.0HP up to 6.0HP. Black panel will be also offered as an option.

[Audio] New R32 FDU duct connected will be available from 3.0hp up to 6.0Hp. FDU 8.0 and 10.0hp duct conneted are still available in R410a.

[Audio] New R32 FDE ceiling suspended will be available from 2.0HP up to 6.0HP..

[Audio] There will be a new line up of outdoor units that are now r32 and cooling only model. These outdoor units are common for FDT, FDE and FDU. Floor standing type is still available in R410a.

[Audio] 3.0hp and 4.0Hp packaged air conditioners will have new pipe sizes that are smaller than the previous one. 3.0Hp new pipe size ½,1/4 and 4.0hp pipe size is 5/8, ¼..

[Audio] Mit-air will also launch R32 multi split in the next few months..

[Audio] Available capacities are 2.5Hp, 3.0Hp and 4.0Hp SCM 5.0Hp is still available in R410a refrigerant.

[Audio] Allowable total pipe length of 2.0Hp and 3.0Hp is up to 40m. On the other hand, Multi split 4.0Hp has an allowable total pipe length of 75m. We can connect maximum 3 indoor units to 2.5HP, maximum of 4 units to 3.0HP and maximum of 5 units to 4.0HP.

[Audio] Indoor unit line up for multi split systems remains the same. There are 6 types of indoor units you can choose..

[Audio] Last topic is the new VRF air-cooled condensing units (KXZ3) that are going to be launched sometime next year..

[Audio] All new KXZ series will be available in the R32 Refrigerant. The equipment has been fully changed and engineered by the following concepts.

[Audio] Concept 1 is the Global Environment. As I explained earlier, R32 is a Low GWP refrigerant. With the used of R32 instead of R410a, CO2 emission is expected have a reduction of about 70%..

[Audio] New KXZ3 is now more compact compare to the previous models. Meaning it is more easy to lift or haul and will also require a smaller installation space..

[Audio] KXZ3 has a new exterior design. Height and depth are typical across all models but they differ in width. 8.0hp to 12.0HP has a width of ONLY 920mm 14.0hp to 18.0hp has a width of 1,220mm 19.0hp to 24.0hp has a width of 1,750mm 8.0hp to 14.0hp has a single compressor and condenser fan 14hp to 18hp has a single compressor and two condenser fans 19hp to 24hp has two compressors and two condenser fans.

[Audio] Since the maximum capacity of a single condensing unit is 24.0HP, the maximum capacity is expanded to 72HP by combining 3 outdoor units..

[Audio] There is still a wide variety of indoor units that you can select. We have 8 types and 61 available models of indoor units.

[Audio] Connect ability or the ratio between the total connected indoor units and outdoor unit has been expanded from 130% to 150%..

[Audio] Additional devices will be introduced for safety measures such as automatic shut-off valve, leakage detector and remote controller with alarm function.

[Audio] The allowable vertical difference between the outdoor unit and the lowest positioned indoor unit has been expanded to 90m from 70m.

[Audio] The external static pressure of the outdoor unit has been extended from 50Pa to 90Pa . This mean that the condenser fan can throw the discharge air farther and short circuit of air will be now more preventable..

[Audio] Although we still do not have the exact efficiency values, it is expected that Seasonal Efficiency will be 10% higher. Improved seasonal efficiency is achieved through new R32 scroll compressors, new heat exchanger with a smaller heat transfer pipe, efficient fan and flow path design and improved version of Variable Temperature and Capacity Control..

[Audio] Our new advanced technology has expanded the cooling operation range up to 46degC..

[Audio] Despite being more compact, MHI still maintain good serviceability to maintenance part. The control box is located on the upper part of the unit and now can be easily checked by removing the upper front panel.

[Audio] Same to the previous model, blower compartment, electrical compartment and mechanical components are separated for easy access and maintenance..
