[Audio] ,, Welcome to the tactical exercise component for the Lieutenant's Promotional Test. This exercise is designed to simulate a realistic emergency incident that you may be faced with as a Lieutenant with Chelsea Fire and Rescue. During this exercise you will assume the role of a Lieutenant assigned to Engine 31. You will be evaluated on your ability to manage, assign, and direct resources to efficiently mitigate the scenario you are given. On your table you will find paper, pencils, and pens. They are available for your use if necessary..

[Audio] ,, The date is February 21, 2024, you are the Lieutenant assigned to Engine 31. You and the crew are completing the morning check of the apparatus at Station 31 when you are dispatched to the following incident. The time is 08:35 a.m..

[Audio] ,, Chelsea Fire and Rescue Engine Thirty-one, Engine thirty-two, Engine thirty-three, Rescue thirty-one, Battalion thirty., 9-33 Darlington Drive on a reported residential structure fire.
