[Audio] The journey begins when a customer places an order with a shipper. The shipper processes the order and prepares the package for shipping..
[Audio] OnTrac picks up the package from the sender (retailer or warehouse) and takes it to one of OnTrac’s sorting centers. Sometimes the retailer will send the package directly to the OnTrac Sorting Center. At the sorting center packages are scanned assigned and given a unique tracking number based on their destination. They are grouped for efficient transportation. This allows customers to monitor their progress and track the package in real-time..
[Audio] The package is loaded onto a delivery truck or van. OnTrac has sorting centers in 31 states covering a significant portion of the U S population. The driver follows a predetermined route delivering packages to homes businesses or designated locations.

[Audio] When the package is successfully delivered the recipient signs for it (if required) or receives it directly. When the package is left for the customer the driver will take a picture of it as proof it was delivered. The package has completed its journey and its life cycle ends..
