from plan-driven to change-driven. 
 
Plan-driven projects have predictive life cycles, while change-driven projects use 
iterative, incremental, or adaptive life cycles. Incremental and iterative life cycles 
involve early planning of high-level scope, while adaptive life cycles involve fixed time 
and cost, and scope is broadly defined with the understanding that it will be refined as 
the project progresses. Backlogs are documented and prioritized, which can be adjusted
