[Audio] in a project that must be completed on time in order for the project to be finished by its deadline. Good morning everyone, today I want to talk about critical path analysis. It is a tool used in project management to help identify the tasks that must be completed on time for the project to be completed by its deadline. We start by constructing a diagram called a network diagram, or a PERT chart. This consists of nodes, which represent the individual tasks, and arrows that represent the dependencies between those tasks. We then calculate the earliest start time, or EST, and the latest finish time, or LFT, for each task. This gives us the total duration of each task. Finally, we identify the critical path as the sequence of tasks with the longest total duration. These are the tasks that must be completed on time for the project to be finished. By focusing on these key tasks, we can identify opportunities for shortening the critical path and reducing the project duration. And that's how critical path analysis is used in project management. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have..
