[Audio] 1. SYSTEM DESCRIPTION 1.1 Overall Description of the System CCTV, also known as closed-circuit television, is a security monitor system that enables you to always keep a watchful eye around or in your business. CCTV security systems contain monitors and cameras that allow you to view live events, as well as recorders that archive footage for later use..

[Audio] 2. Identification of each Equipment and Devices of the System • CCTV Cameras – Closed-circuit television ( CCTV), also known as video surveillance, [ 1][2] is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ pointto-point ( P2P), point-to-multipoint ( P2MP), or mesh wired or wireless links. Even though almost all video cameras fit this definition, the term is most often applied to those used for surveillance in areas that require additional security or ongoing monitoring ( Videotelephony is seldom called "CCTV"[ 3][ 4]). IP CAMERA TUBE CAMERA HD ANALOG CAMERA.

[Audio] • Recorder – A Digital Video Recorder ( DVR) records video to local storage devices, most commonly a hard drive. DVR can record analog video sources on-site or capture video from a digital source. DVRs can be connected to analog cameras via coaxial cables, enabling them to be accessed remotely..

Page 6 (3m 23s)

[Audio] • HDD - is how data is stored and accessed. An HDD is a traditional storage device that uses mechanical spinning platters and a moving read/write head to access data • CMS Server – computer program or device that provides a service to another computer program and its user, also known as the client. In a data center, the physical computer that a server program runs on is also frequently referred to as a server. • Network Switch – A network switch connects devices (such as computers, printers, wireless access points) in a network to each other, and allows them to ' talk' by exchanging data packets..

Page 7 (4m 11s)

[Audio] • Wireless Device – CCTV IP Surveillance is a common use of wireless networking, due to the dispersed nature of CCTV networks, the cameras at the remote end of the network need to transmit images continuously. Wireless transmission can lower capital and ongoing costs as well as giving you more flexibility and control over your network. • Data Cabinet - is a server or a data storage cabinet that can be placed on the floor space to organize valuable IT equipment and data safely..
