KSS will pay safety incentives to employees including service providers according to the safety performance!.

Separation of manhours reporting. Lagging indicators, i.e. incidents occurring at Kapstevel Project will no longer affect Kolomela’s hours and visa versa!

Kapstevel South Project  will no longer be  incentivised  by Kolomela Mine!

Recent decisions and changes have taken place:

Why are we no longer incentivised by Kolomela?

Reduced   from 100 000 LTI free manhours to 40 000 LTI  free manhours.

R100 will be paid  by Kapstevel South Project (no longer Kolomela Mine) to employees and service providers  for every 40 000 LTI free manhours.  LTI Free Manhours   will  start again from 0  if an LTI incident occurs onsite.

In addition,  R200 will be paid  to employees and service providers  for every 20 EOF days .  EOF days will start again from 0 if the following incidents occur: HPI, LTI, MTC, Health incidents (level 3, 4 and 5), Environmental incidents (level 3, 4 and 5) and Fatalities

We all have a responsibility to save someone’s life everyday by identifying HPH’s, conducting our VFL’s, High risk work verification, #ICareBudy and ensuring that all critical controls are in place. If you were previously overpaid on your voucher card, please note that any incentives you receive will contribute to the owed  amount until it is fully paid back.

We have launched our FTCS campaign! This campaign is aimed at recognising teams on site that complete their last three (3) months without an injury . You can qualify to receive a R2000 voucher as a token of appreciation. This amount will be paid into your voucher card!.

Employees must be on site for three (3) months and more before the contract is completed.

Contractors must have proof of participation in reporting leading indicators.

Contractors must have no recorded Injuries On Duty. KSS construction site employees only.

Each and every one of us are responsible for ensuring that we adhere to the Procedure for Waste Management  (KOL-SHE-ENV-PRO-0013) We need to ensure that waste is correctly separated and that laydown and work areas are clean (incl. walkways) and are free from litter.  Let’s keep our environment clean!
