[Audio] Health and Safety Induction The purpose of this induction is to detail Kealy site safety rules and procedures as well highlight any hazards which are applicable across Kealy project sites. Once you have completed this induction you will still need to attend a site-specific briefing the first day you attend site, carried out by the Site Management Team..

[Audio] When entering and exiting our sites all persons are asked to do so with extreme caution as this route can be busy. All persons are asked to be courteous and give way to pedestrians and vehicles. Project speed limit is 10 kilometers per hour and must be obeyed at all times. No vehicles are permitted to enter the construction zone all vehicles must be reversed parked in the compound carpark All vehicle entering this site will be subjected to random searches by security with photographs taken for the security of your tools and equipment..

[Audio] Site Inductions: All operatives must have all documentation submitted prior to accessing site, failure to do so may result in personnel being refused entry. Safe Pass: All employees on-site must be in possession of a valid Safe Pass or C-S-R card to be forwarded to safety Manager. NO safe pass NO START CSCS: Relevant C-S-C-S training must have been completed where required to be forwarded to safety officer (for example excavators, telehandler, lugs et cetera) Mobile Phones: Mobile phones use is only permitted in safe areas away from site traffic. Smoking: STRICTLY NO SMOKING INDOORS any person found smoking shall be immediately dismissed and barred from entering any Kealy site. Manual Handling: All employees on-site must be in possession of a valid MH cert to be forwarded to the Site team NO Manual Handling NO START.

[Audio] Alcohol and Drugs: The consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs on Kealy sites is strictly prohibited. Persons which site management believe to be under the influence or suffering from the aftereffects of alcohol or illegal drugs will asked to leave the construction zone immediately and may be required to undergo an alcohol / drugs test. Kealy Reserves the right to test any persons on their sites to undergo both specific or random alcohol / drugs test during works or following an accident. Site Hours: Site hours are 07:00hrs – 19:00hrs (Mon-Fri) 09:00hrs – 13:00hrs (Sat) Planning permission start / finish times must be adhered to. No work outside these hours without prior arrangements with Kealy site management. Machinery & Equipment: All machinery being brought on-site (including lifting equipment and lifting tackle) must carry certificates of thorough inspection G-A-1--. Machinery will Not be permitted to enter the site under any circumstances without the appropriate documentation..

[Audio] Safety Behaviour: If you deem any task to be unsafe You must S-T-O-P immediately and report it to the site manager / foreman. It is the responsibility of all operatives to understand and comply with their individual contractors Method Statements and Safe Working Practices. Employee Health: Any health conditions which could affect your safety or that of others must be reported to Kealy management immediately on a confidential basis. Interface with the Public: All employees are expected to always behave in a respectful fashion towards members of the public and ensure that all necessary safety precautions are taken to ensure public safety. Kealy Construction does not and will not tolerate any kind of abuse towards personnel on our site, repercussions for such occurrences will result in being removed from site. Please note: Site rules and/or conditions may change as the project developments. Kealy will ensure that all employees & sub-contractors are updated as necessary in a timely fashion..

[Audio] Lifting Equipment Inspections: Weekly inspections must be completed on all lifting equipment. G-A-2 must be completed by the operator (teleported, excavator, dumper et cetera) Work at Height Equipment: G-A-3 must be completed for equipment used for work at height (scaffolding, safety harness, steps, hop-ups et cetera) Portable Electrical Equipment: All portable electrical equipment must operate on 110v and be subject weekly inspection. Records of inspections must be returned weekly to the site office, every Monday by 12:00hrs or companies will be stood down. Safety Briefings: Pre-start safety briefings will be carried out on a daily basis by the site manager / foreman. Coordination with subcontractors will be discussed. Site Visitors: Visitors to site will Not be permitted onto site without having submitted the visitors Covid-19 self-declaration form and completing the Visitor Safety Briefing with safety personal. There will be no exceptions..

[Audio] Task Based (when your method statement, risk assessments states these are required) Hearing Protection Ear plugs must be worn when noise in your work area is at 80db (if you have to raise your voice to hold a conversion, with earmuffs being worn when noise is above 85db Safety Glasses At all times Respirator or FFP3/2 dust mask Filter mask required for any large amount of dust Face coverings must Not to be used in place of dust masks as they do not offer any protection from dust particles.

[Audio] TOILETS! and Welfare facilities are located. The welfare facilities are provided to make your workday more comfortable, and these must be treated with the highest amount of respect. Your fellow workers must also use these, and we contract cleaners to clean daily please don't leave their job any harder than it needs to be. Any person found to be miss treating the canteen or toilets shall be removed from site immediately and be barred from entering any Kealy site in the future. FLUSH! FLUSH! FLUSH! If you pee FLUSH! If you poo FLUSH! If you blow your nose FLUSH! Please FLUSH! The toilet after each use, we are not animals so please don't act like it, FLUSH! FLUSH! First Aid box is located in the site office. Any use of the first aid box must be recorded in the usage sheet enclosed in the box..

Kealy Fire Wardens/Foremen will implement the Fire and Emergency procedure and direct all personnel to the site assembly point. In the carpark 3. Do not stop to collect tools or personal belongings. 4. Roll call will be taken to confirm all personnel are present. 5. Do not leave the site under any circumstances until the emergency has passed and you are informed of such by a member of Kealy Site Management..

[Audio] Plant & Machinery Machinery & Equipment: A-L-L machinery being brought on-site (including lifting equipment and lifting tackle) must carry certificates of thorough inspection GA1. Machinery will Not be permitted to enter the site under any circumstances without the appropriate documentation. A-L-L machinery and lifting equipment must be inspected daily and included in the weekly G-A-2 inspection form. A-N-Y defects found must be included in the form with a new inspection completed with the repair engineers report attached to the inspection form in which the fault was highlighted.

[Audio] Plant & Machinery Workers never walk close to a working machine unless the driver is aware of your presence and has stopped operations ALWAYS leave a minimum gap of 1 meter between your and the piece of plant equipment. never attempt to squeeze between the plant machine and a scaffold, building, or other obstruction Pedestrian walkways have been set up around site with these being segregated from vehicle routes and designed crossing points all operatives must use these walkways.

[Audio] Working at Height Working at height and falls from height is the biggest cause of fatality in the construction industry A-L-L access platforms including mobile access towers, and trestles must be erected by a competent person in line with the manufacture's instructions. A-L-L platforms and leading edges must be fitted with proper edge protection Work at Height Equipment: G-A-3 must be completed for equipment used for work at height (scaffolding, safety harness, steps, hop-ups et cetera) Records of inspections must be returned weekly to the site office. ALWAYS Protect holes, leading edges and fragile materials ALWAYS Consider weather conditions IF IN doubt speak to your supervisor.
