BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY. NORB PRODUCTS SDN BHD was founded in the year 2000 . Currently, NORB has 5 branches and 2 manufacturing plants in Terengganu. There are a total of 3000 employees in the branches and factories. Currently, we have introduced a new product line: Nutmeg Oil . We have also expanded our business worldwide by conquering the top 3 countries: Spain, Japan and Kazakhstan. With our expanding business, NORB PRODUCTS SDN BHD hopes to provide high quality and useful products to our customers all over the world..

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS. How will your products be received in each country given that country’s culture ? We decided to export our batik, rattan furniture and nutmeg oil after a lot of research to see if the Spanish culture would accept them. Our second country that we will export to is Japan. It is known as an island country, which is located in East Asia. Japan has a humid and windy climate with cold air all year round. We have adapted our batik to the cold weather in Japan. Kazakhstan is located in Central Asia and is known as the largest landlocked country and largest Muslim majority country. As the culture is very similar to our country, we believe that our batik, rattan furniture and nutmeg oil will be welcomed by the people of this country..

How you may need adjust packaging, promotion, advertising, and so forth to maximize your firm’s potential for success?.

Promotion. We use sales promotion for our rattan furniture products that we feel more suitable to expose our products in another country. Secondly, for batik clothing we use bundling as a way to attract more customers who are with different cultures Thirdly, for the nutmeg oil we set flash sales that is called short sales that offer extreme discounts for a limited amount of time. As the nutmeg oil is categorized under beneficial and rare products so there is no doubt that our product is a trustable one..

Advertising. As based on our goal to develop our marketing to Spain, Japan and Kazakhstan we use digital advertising method in order to promote our products very fast and with convenient. In digital advertising we mostly focus on the social media advertising where a million of people can access the apps per day based on a website.
