[Audio] INTRODUCTION I started writing poetry at the age of 12 in the school days and got highly appreciated and encouraged for my first Tamil poetry lines for the high quality they reflected. Later, my creative talents took shape in English language when I started studying English literature at the age of 20. My thorough exposure to an international community consisting of 20 countries from 4 continents of the world at the CATHEXIS INSTITUTE at Bangalore gave me real fluency in English language. After my MA English in1977, I joined at the cathexis at Bangalore in the year 1981 and left the institute in the year 1985. There at the international community expectation was placed upon the students and trainees to speak only in English 24 hours of a day Because the inhabitants of the CATHEXIS home hailed from various corners of the world and that they would be baffled if many dialects are spoken by the members of the CATHEXIS community. Thus the director of the institute convinced us that English could only be the most welcome language inside the CATHEXIS family. With luck, I was placed in a community where I have to communicate and listen in English that was acceptable to 20 countries people for a period of continuous 4 years and 4 months within a safe bungalow at Bangalore where the institute functioned. With God's grace I was well trained in international psychotherapy. Subsequently, I returned back in Malaysia continuously for nearly 15 years. Malaysia is the country I was born, at Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. I have worked for a movie production as an assistant director, public relations writer to the media, also as a dialogue writer writing Tamil cine dialogue for 100 scenes of a gangster movie and also with the same director in his personal drama production for which he wrote most of the dialogue for a short Play which was telecast in Astro. The movie stopped just with a shooting of 16 scenes. The producer announced he was depleted of money abruptly. In Semini lake I danced for 3 movie songs with 3 women which was professionally photographed by a qualified camera man under the direction of a recognized director of film production who is a FDAM.CD was prepared out of my dance performance at Semini with 3 women in the year 2010. With these various multifarious experiences, I have looked at the social and the natural phenomena that is going on around me and have depicted my reactions to these Malaysian natural events in my chaste English that I have been polishing in my head throughout my life. [Audio] BACKGROUND Born in Sungei Gadut, Seremban, Malaysia Jayasehkkaran has studied MA in English Literature from Mysore University and was a student and then a trainee at the CATHEXIS INSTITUTE, Bangalore from 1981- 1985. CATHEXIS INSTITUTE was regarded as the MECCA for TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS studies in the year 1984 by the world TA community. Jacqui Lee Schiff MSW was it's then DIRECTOR. The author of this poem collection Jayasehkkaran had made parenting contract with Jacqui Lee Schiff it should be noted.
