[Audio] Prior to the establishment of Post PNG Limited, the postal service division operated under the umbrella of the former post and telecommunications corporation (PTC). The PNG National Government initiated the creation of PTC in 1982. For years, the postal service division functioned as a part of this larger entity. However, in 1996, a significant change occurred as the postal service division separated from PTC, emerging as an independent entity known as Post PNG Limited. This separation was facilitated by the Postal Company's Act of 1996, a legislation introduced to formalize the transition. Post PNG Limited, now operating autonomously, is under the ownership of the Government of Papua New Guinea. Its headquarters are situated in Konedobu, Port Moresby, specifically in the National Capital District. At the helm of the organization is a Board of Directors, consisting of six members, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This board serves as the governing body responsible for formulating policies that shape the company's operations and future direction. Our expansive network consists of 44 Official Post Offices situated strategically across the country. These offices serve as accessible hubs where customers can access a comprehensive range of postal services, including mail sending and receiving, package delivery, money transfers, and more. In addition to our Official Post Offices, we operate two Agency post offices through third-party agreements. These agency post offices enable us to extend our reach, offering postal services in convenient locations where our official presence may be limited. Recognizing the growing demand for courier and freight services, Post PNG Limited has established eight courier and freight centers. These centers serve as efficient logistics hubs, facilitating the transportation and timely delivery of parcels and goods both domestically and internationally. To further enhance customer convenience and accessibility to financial services, Post PNG Limited operates 12 Agency Banking Services. Through these agencies, customers can access basic banking services, such as deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments, conveniently located within our broader postal network. At the heart of our operations, we have a central Mail Exchange and Distribution Centre. This facility serves as a crucial hub for the efficient sorting, processing, and distribution of mail items, ensuring swift and accurate delivery to their intended recipients. To cater to diverse customer needs, we also operate six Post Shops, which provide a range of retail services alongside our core postal offerings. Whether it's purchasing stationery, packaging materials, or availing additional convenience services, our Post Shops are a one-stop destination. Lastly, we take pride in our Philatelic Bureau, dedicated to philately enthusiasts and collectors. Our Philatelic Bureau offers a wide variety of commemorative stamps, special edition postal products, and related collectibles, celebrating notable events, significant personalities, and the vibrant cultural heritage of Papua New Guinea.
